Trucks, planes and cheesy peezee

I truly am working on two halfway decent posts.  Sadly though, I’m really really slow, kind of dumb, extremely unorganized and crazy busy preparing for Christmas and getting ready to visit Colorado for the holidays.

Yup, boy and his parents are getting on a plane.  It could be really fun.  It could suck ass (the plane part, not the Colorado part because that’s gonna be awesome).
Should I take bets?

Anyway, it’s Saturday night already after 9:00 and it’s looking doubtful that I’ll finish one of my real posts.  Because I fear that you might go into withdrawal* if I don’t at least titillate you with a tiny glimpse into our weekend so far, here are a few bones.

We had cheesy peezee again today!

We also had to stop at the mall because even though Tucker and I were just there 10 days ago to get his hair cut, the woman did a horrible job and left his bangs all short and the hair at his crown really long.  So every morning upon waking, he looks like one of the trees in The Lorax.  By the way, being at the mall on the Saturday before Christmas?  Dreadful.  Haven’t you people heard of shopping online?!?!

SantaThis is the closest we got to the madness that was a billion people with impatient dressed-up kids waiting to meet Santa.

Happy Saturday all!  Are you traveling for the holidays?  Cleaning your house for the first time since Thanksgiving preparing for your own visitors?  Do tell!

*That was a joke, people!  Calm down!  I realize that very few of you would even notice whether I posted tonight or not.  It’s just that I feel really guilty when I post nothing and I know there will be at least one day next week when I don’t.

  • Courtney - Have a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy your plane ride, I have been on MANY with my kiddos. Some have been Heaven, and others, well, you know. Good luck! I can’t wait to read about your trip!December 22, 2012 – 10:10 pmReplyCancel

    • admin - Thanks so much, Courtney! I’m really hoping for the good plane ride…we’ve had airport visits that are so much fun because Tucker’s into watching the planes. And we’ve had ones where our fellow passengers want to kill us and look at us like we’re the worst parents in the world for not being able to control our crazy monkey…
Merry Christmas to you, too! I can’t wait to see what you all do with your family. And you BETTER post photos. By the way, you’ve convinced me to go for the “big girl camera” as you put it. But my first stop is to find out whether my dad has one that he’s not using due to an upgrade. Wish me luck. And thanks for the advice! <3 Happy happy to you and yours!December 22, 2012 – 10:53 pmReplyCancel
