One Unicorn. One Unicorn Flying a Ninee.

Just for you guys.

RainbowUnicorn

UnicornFlyingNinee

I’ll bet you’re really wishing I could actually draw right about now, huh?  Ya, me too.

More later, peeps!  I’m quite the busy (and sleep deprived) bundle of stress today with places to go and people to meet.  Oh, and I’m required to wear actual grownup business lady shoes.  Sigh.

Wondering why my unicorn is rainbow-colored?  Because he’s magic!  Plus, he likes to show his support for the GLB community.  He’s pretty awesome that way.

Confused about why I’m drawing a unicorn and a unicorn flying a ninee?  Then read this, and come back.  It’ll make much more sense, I promise!

PS: It’s now 11:17am.  I need to walk out the door at 12:30pm looking good (showered, in other words, with my hair washed and everything).  So I ask you – when oh when can I take a NAP?  Huh?  Is five minutes of napping long enough to refresh me?  I’m never staying up too late again.  Never, ever.

  • Jennifer - Haha, I love the unicorn! You make me laugh every time I come here. Except those posts that made me cry of course.January 10, 2013 – 11:05 amReplyCancel

    • admin - Aw, thanks huge, Jennifer!January 10, 2013 – 11:14 amReplyCancel

  • Joy - Awww, here comes the unicorn! I love the Ninee-flying unicorn even more than the normal one! <3

And please: what is a nap? Cannot remember when I napped last. Ugh. But I was at the hairdresser today and my hairdo looks decent and nice again. Afterwards I met a very good friend for a quick (um… 1 hour!) coffee. And tonight we are off to the cinema, so yay for this day!

    Have a wonderful, glorious day, sweetie! xoxoJanuary 10, 2013 – 12:32 pmReplyCancel

    • admin - Thanks sweet Joy! Naps are things that happened before we had kids, I guess. Although, I seem to remember napping a ton when Tucker was tiny. Of course, I was up and down all night, too…
Glad you had an awesome day of hairdressers, coffee and movie night! Yay for YOU!January 10, 2013 – 6:54 pmReplyCancel

  • Henriette - I love that the unicorn shows his support for the GLB community! More people should too! 🙂January 10, 2013 – 12:37 pmReplyCancel

    • admin - Thanks Henriette! You’re right that more people should, too! <3January 10, 2013 – 6:54 pmReplyCancel

  • Stephanie @ Mommy, for real. - I adore your GLBT unicorn by the way. And it’s funny, I too posted about the challenges of making oneself presentable to the outside world today. Great minds! 😉January 10, 2013 – 10:00 pmReplyCancel

    • admin - Stephanie, while I love that you adore my GLBT unicorn…I’m sad that this is the post you saw as this is a FILLER post. Which means, it sucks compared to other stuff. Hopefully, you checked out why he was here in the first place. I’m going to read your outside world stuff now, btw…January 10, 2013 – 11:11 pmReplyCancel

  • Sara - Of COURSE he’s rainbow-colored! I can’t believe someone might need that explained. It’s like they don’t even know that unicorns poop Skittles…. AND he’s progressive. Love it.

    …..but I did start wondering at work the other day if you’d draw a dragon racing a ninee. I think that’d be good…… 😉January 12, 2013 – 8:59 amReplyCancel

    • admin - A dragon racing a ninee? Wow, ok I’ll try. But maybe not today. Awesome suggestion (although maybe sort of hard?). Hm. I’m up to it! I yam I yam!January 12, 2013 – 9:02 amReplyCancel

      • admin - Is it a nice dragon or a mean dragon? I need to know.January 12, 2013 – 9:02 amReplyCancel

        • Sara - I envisioned a nice dragon, but a mean dragon being chased by a rescuer ninee sounds cool. The conquering ninee could save all the helpless people from being scorched into extinction, preventing dystopia and annihilation. ….Naaaaaah, I’d stick with the NICE dragon in a friendly race to the corner and back (and of course by “corner” I mean Iceland).

          No rush. Take your time. I’ll be here…. 🙂January 12, 2013 – 9:30 amReplyCancel
