For you crafty types out there, I thought I’d share one of the artwork projects Tucker brought home from school. Look how adorable this bus made from an egg carton is! Personally, I would have paid a little more attention to my scissor-accuracy and not left those unsightly tabs of white paper sticking out from the sides of some photos (but not all which actually makes it bother me more- especially on my kid), but that’s me. As is apparent from my Michelangeloish artwork on this site, I’m a perfectionist. Not everybody can be.
So I’ve saved the day for those of you who are unsure what to do with your used egg cartons and are looking for a cute little-kid project that you’ll probably have to do most of yourself if you want it to look at all lifelike.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering what weird disease Tucker’s classmates have to cause blurryface syndrome, that was my doing to protect their identity. I am aware enough to realize that not all parents actually put their kid’s faces on the global internet worldwideweb cyberspace place on purpose.

Pam - This is so cute! I like a lot of your posts, especially the ones about how you are blessed by your son but I’d really like to have more posts about cute crafting ideas like this one too. I have two children at home and am always looking for cheap ways to get them creative. Thanks for this post.November 16, 2012 – 1:54 pm
